At Phoenix Children’s Academy family of schools, children are given the opportunity to discover and explore in a rich child-centered environment, supported by small and large group activities throughout the day. Our child development preschool program promotes a balance of positive early learning and play in the daily schedule, realizing that “play” is children’s “work.”

A four year old preschool class should be a place that inspires curiosity and learning. Bright, colorful classrooms create a stimulating environment where children experience a variety of monthly themed activities. Preschool bridges the gap from toddler child care and daycare to the world of kindergarten and elementary school, nurturing the self-reliance and control necessary for children as they move through the educational system.

Children gain self-confidence as they independently explore Learning Centers equipped with activities that promote dramatic play, math, creative art, language arts, social studies, science, music, blocks and computers. We believe in the ‘whole-brain’ approach to learning, which allows children to develop at their own individualized pace. This forms the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.
